Passion Overdue
Finally making time for the things we kept postponing. Motorcycles. Road trips. Mountains. Adventure. Exploration. And the freedom to simply ride.
For three or four years I watched other people’s bike videos on YouTube and kept telling myself “some day”: not enough time, not enough money, and a Gixxer 150 that did the office commute just fine. In 2026 I stopped waiting. The result is Himalati, a Himalayan 411 rebuilt as a 6-speed Himalayan 440, and this channel.
I ride out of Guwahati, Assam, the gateway to the North East. The plan: more rides, more roads, more adventures across North East India, and an honest log of what the bike costs and how every upgrade works out.
How the videos are made
- I talk in Assamese mixed with English. Every video has English subtitles (tap CC on YouTube), and every video gets a written version here on the blog.
- Camera: DJI Osmo Action 4, mostly helmet POV.
- Nothing is sponsored. Prices are what I found while researching, not quotes.
